4th of July 2008!

We went out to the lake house for the 4th of July this year as is our family tradition. The house was packed with family and friends and we all had a great time. Of course everyone bought a TON of fireworks and Jaden really got into watching them this year. Bryson got to watch part of the "show" until he got too tired so I put him to bed. The next day he kept pointing up and then clapping and making a loud noise and I realized he was trying to talk about the fireworks that he saw!

Unfortunately, the weather stayed overcast and cool all weekend long (until the last day, when we were going to leave of course!) but we still had fun sitting by the campfire (making s'mores), going on walks, fishing, going out in the boat and paddleboat, playing air hockey and ping pong, etc. Grandpa Albert even bought Jaden a radio-controlled boat, which he LOVES!!!
