A busy but fun weekend!

Parent Tea (May 29th)
Jaden was so excited about having Todd and I come to his school and serving us at Parent Tea again this year (and so were we). Jaden started off by bringing us to our table and then served us smoothies, and delicious thumbprint cookies. The children are taught to serve their parents first and then themselves. The children had worked hard on decorating the classroom with hand-made flowers and butterflies for this special event. Jaden looked so handsome and so grown-up!
Aren't these smoothies fancy with the added umbrellas?!?

At the end of the "Tea" the children present gifts to their parents. A beautiful handprint and a self-portrait book (Jaden drew a self-portrait every month that he was in school and the book is bound with a picture of Jaden on the cover). It is so neat to see how his drawings of himself has changed since September.

Jaden's teacher's this year (l. to r.): assistant Lisa, Mrs. Clark.
Mrs. Clark will be his teacher next year in kindergarten as well, for his final year in the purple class, but sadly Lisa will not be returning (Jaden will miss her very much).

Bryson's last day of co op preschool (May 29th)
After going to the parent tea, I rushed over to Bryson's preschool for his last day. Erin and Evan had taken B to school that day so that Todd and I could attend the Parent Tea.
Bryson during one of his favorite parts of preschool: snack time!
It was a yummy snack of strawberry mice:)
Bryson shaking his wiggles out during music.
Stamp time! All the children were stamped ahead of time with the words "Thank You" on their tummy as a surprise to teacher Ingrid!
Teacher Ingrid gave every child a book.

I had to put this picture of teacher Ingrid with Jaden at age 2
At the parking lot Erin and I had to take a couple pic's of the boys.

Buddies, Bryson looks so serious!
The Drive-in (May 29th)
Later that evening we went to the drive-in (with our friends/neighbors;) to see Night at the Museum 2. Here are the kids playing before the movie started.
Jon, Erin, Evan and Laurel ready for the movie!
My goofball J
and a nice smile:)
All ready for the movie if it would ever get dark!

All the kids hung out for awhile in our car eating candy and popcorn.

Sounders Game (May 30th)
Erin and Jon had tix to this game so we carpooled together and had drinks before.
At halftime they joined us since there were 2 empty seats in our row! They alsogot to hear the extremely loud band that recently moved behind us;)
Barbeque at the Boyers (May 31st)
We had so much fun at the Boyer's for a bbq! It was another beautiful day and so we had a great time hanging out in their backyard watching the kids play and eating delicious food, thanks for the invite Amy and Tom!

Random May pictures

This is perely a random post of some pictures and things we did in May (plus a few from April) that I didn't get a chance to blog about yet. Todd and Jon took Jaden and Laurel out fishing all day in April. Jaden's pole was the only one that got any bites and caught all 8 fish (even though as Todd explains it that all 4 fishing poles were set up the exact same way, out of the same boat!).
One day after Bryson't preschool as we were walking to our car, we saw some firemen finishing up some procedures. One of the firemen came over and gave Bryson a sticker and later invited him to sit in his firetruck, took pictures with his iphone and sent them to me. He was so nice and Bryson had a blast!

Todd and the boys at the Mariner's game right before he got sick.
We had a fun playdate at the park with the Boyer's and our neighbors. B and I teeter-tottering.

B singing "It's a fall worold" (otherwise known as "It's a Small World")
A cute pic of Kailee, J and B while Jaden played Mario Kart.
My tulips and daffodils that came up late this year because it was so cold.
Todd and I at a Sounder's game:)
J loves to climb into Bryson's crib and snuggle with him in the morning (Bryson usually loves it too;)
Bryson graduated from waterbabies and is now in "big boy" lessons at the Y. He is always really hesitant at first to go sit down atthe edge of the pool, but quickly warms up to it and does fine. The only thing he really dislikes is to backfloat (which is funny b/c Jaden was always really good at backfloating and could do it on his own at age 2). Bryson doesn't like the feeling of having his ears underwater, so his teacher Ashley recommended having us practice at home in the bathtub (which we do but he still doesn't like it while backfloating in the pool;)

Bryson's favorite part is to jump in and touch the bottom of the pool so that he can tell J!
