July fun part 2 (with a little bit of June;)

6/27 After a Sun Lakes trip in June, Jaden and I both came down with the flu. One day Todd took Bryson out on the boat and J and I stayed home and played all day. Even though we were sick it was nice to have some Jaden and Mommy time. Here's the block tower we built and then set up the army guys (bad guys on one side, good on the other of course).

My skinny boy:) going to jump in the cool pool going down the little slide Mighty B! After swimming for a couple hours it was time to go home to bed. 7/19 We spent a relaxing Sunday at home, enjoying the gorgeous weather on our deck and in our yard.

J played bubbles with Gramps Todd enjoyed a beverage and flexed a little:) Family came over for dinner and enjoyed some more beverages. Bryson enjoyed his ice cream with a towel on his head! 7/21

While Jaden was in Sounder's camp, Bryson and I met Erin and Amy and kids at the new Tukwila spray park. Bryson had so much fun playing in the water with his buddies.

That evening Erin generously invited us all over for dinner. It was SO HOT that day so we enjoyed eating outside. Bryson double-fisting some juice boxes:) 7/22

On the last day of swim lessons this summer, Bryson was the only one who showed up for class! His instructor Chris was impressed with how much he was willing to do with no one else around.

Back-floating was the hardest part for Bryson to get used to doing during swim lessons (he didn't like the feel of water going in his ears). He did awesome this day using the mat though. 7/25

Took the boat out on Lake Washington to chill in the cove.

Finally brought the fun island with us! B and Ev grubbin' down on the Piegari boat. Laurel and J playing on the fun island. They had a hard time getting back on it after they went in the water. BBQ- we invited a bunch of folks over for a cookout/retirement party for my dad! We were hoping for good weather when planning it and we definitely got that! 90+ degrees this day! Jaden, Bryson, Laurel and Kailee having some food.

Our deck was tested as we probably had 20+ people on it at a time this day, but it was well built and didn't even budge:) The kids enjoyed playing on the new swing set that Todd and I took several weeks to put together! Here's the retiree! Keith with Becky's sweet puppy Samantha. The adults enjoyed volleyball and Bocce ball. Becky, Keith and JoAnn the spectators/referees. Mr. Evan floating some boats Popsicle time with Jackson, Brody and Evan. Laurel, Kailee and Bryson enjoyed popsicles too! Todd and his brothers, Ted and Cory, and Jaden after many rounds of Bocce. 7/27

Mounger pool again with Katie, Kellen and Griffin. It was so hot and only the warm pool was open. We didn't even make it the entire hour. The boys still had fun though!

Crossroads Spray Park. We had to make it to this park again, another scorcher of a day but it was fun to cool down a bit in the water. Laurel and J, this frog was a popular feature! This was also a special day as it was the last day that I watched Kailee on a regular basis:( She has been a very special part of our lives for 5 1/2 years and we will miss seeing her so often! Of course we still plan on having lots of playdates, she truly is one of Jaden's best buddies and they have had so much fun growing up together. We all love her so very much:) She brought special cupcakes to celebrate! (BTW this was the 103 degree record-breaking day!) Some fun summer videos of the boys.
