Parent Teas
I love the preprimary tradition at our school of doing Parent Teas. This year was Bryson's first year participating and Jaden's third and final year (sniff, sniff). Bryson's class "Tea" was held on Friday, May 21st.
Here he is the morning of his tea, all dressed up.
He wanted a picture with his lovies: Cozy his blanket and Husky
Jaden the same day (not the day of his tea).
Bryson opening the door for Todd and I and welcoming us in.
His class theme was Under the Sea with a focus on dolphins and whales.
Bryson serving us juice (no tea is actually ever served at the Parent Tea;)
Serving us food, lol! His teacher Kim looks a little worried in the background. Funny story, after he served me he went to get another plate and screamed across the room for me not to eat yet. He did the same thing after serving Todd! He was afraid that we would start without him! I think he needs to work on his Tea manners a little more;)

Bryson enjoying his juice, scones and fruit-kabobs.

Group pictures:)

At the end of the tea, Bryson presented us with the present of his monthly self-portraits.

A picture with the other kids in his class in his tea group (not every child goes at the same time). These are the younger kids in his class. Bryson was the 2nd youngest this year, Madi on the far right is a month younger than him.

Bryson with Kim(bo) and Kristina, his awesome teachers.
The following Thursday was Jaden's class Tea. His class theme was Charlotte's Web, as they had read the book in class. The decorations and murals were amazing!

J with Daddy at his Kindergarten Tea:)

Now with Mommy:)

Eating the delicious food, including a tasty smoothie and a "trough" in the middle of the table filled with popcorn.
Jaden is a prize for sure!
Jaden with his wonderful teacher's, Mrs. Clark (who has been with him for the past 3 years) and Katie (who became the assistant this year).
Family picture:)
Just for fun, last year's Parent Tea.
