Great Wolf Lodge 2010

We went back to the Great Wolf Lodge on Thursday, May 13th. This time we were spending 2 nights.
After checking in and unpacking in our room, we hit the water park! It was so nice with hardly anyone there at all (midweek in May= great time to go!). J was a little excited;)


One of the first things we went on, was the big innertube waterslide (see video below). It scared B a little so he was happy to get on his favorite jet skis and squirt people!

We happened to stay at the lodge during the sunniest, warmest days that we had seen in months! They had built a little outdoor water park, but it wasn't open yet. So we enjoyed some time in the hot tub outside.

We broke down and bought the boys MagiQuest wands this year. We activated Jaden's so he could actually play the game. Bryson got one that made things move and talk but wasn't hooked up to the game (his attention span wasn't long enough anyway).

Day #2 at the waterpark, Friday was a little busier, but still not too bad.
We actually spent quite a bit of time outside on Friday relaxing in the sun (and shade). The boys even took a long nap outside on the lounge chairs.
Our friends Katie, Larry and their boys Kellen and Griffin came this day (along with a bunch of other people that we knew from the YMCA and the boys' school). Here's Larry and Griffin in the wave pool.

More MagiQuest on Friday night, Jaden was obsessed with completing his game!

Jaden and I stayed up late on Friday completing his MagiQuest so on Saturday morning he got to fight the dragon!
Saturday was CRAZY busy, so we actually didn't stay at the water park long. We left in the early afternoon and headed to the lake house. One last pic of Bryson.
Well, some may say we are cruel because Todd and I made Bryson ride the waterslide first thing. We really thought he would be happy once he was on it, and that he was riding in an innertube with his family! It is kind of funny though;) I actually hate to post this as it has way too many shots of me in a bathing suit:(
