The Globe
Jaden decided to make a map at preschool a few weeks ago. Traditionally the first map that is made in a Montessori classroom is the globe with the continents labeled. He worked very hard on it for an entire week. Pinning out each of the continents in the "correct" colors, making the circles for the Western and Eastern hemispheres, gluing the continents in place, painting the ocean with blue watercolor, labeling the continents, and finally stapling the hemispheres together and stuffing it to make a globe.
He was so proud of his work:)
