Our Weekend

We had a busy and also productive three-day weekend. On Saturday Todd and Gramps went and bought the tub shower combo and my dad came over to help move it into our basement.

On Sunday we took the boys up to Snoqualmie Mountain so that Jaden could do some practice skiing. We bought him a magic carpet/tow rope pass and just walked ran alongside him while he practiced his skiing We had Jaden practice "hot dog" (straight skis) and "pizza" (making his skis into a wedge to stop). He did really well and we decided that the bunny slopes are too easy for him, so this next weekend Todd and I are taking him up on the lifts!

Here's a little video of Jaden coming off the magic carpet and starting down the hill. I wanted him to practice going in and out of the cones but he said he wanted to show Mighty (Bryson) how fast he could go:)


Bryson kept saying, "Too cold on my cheeks!" He was right it was very frosty up there and windy too!

Afterwards we went to the snopark to do a little sledding.



That day we were also happy to finally find a store that had a Wii in-stock! We had planned on getting our family one for Christmas but never found one in time (before the snowstorms hit).

On Monday, Todd and Gramps finished the plumbing install on our basement bathtub/shower. Woohoo!


Three-day weekends are the best!
