On a
very wet and rainy Friday (October 23rd) was the annual preprimary pumpkin patch field trip at the boys' school. This would be Jaden's last year on the field trip as 1st graders on up don't go to the pumpkin patch. It was also Bryson's first year going as an actual member of the school (although he has also gone the last 2 years as Todd and I both always chaperone this trip). This year they had so many parent volunteers that their teachers didn't need us to drive any other kids, so we relaxed at our house for awhile in the morning before leaving.

We met up with Jaden's buddy Graison and his parents and the boys had a blast going on rides and hanging with eachother all day. The rain didn't bother them a bit!

This year they had HUGE pumpkins to choose from as we left the park (usually you just get tiny ones). It was a fun day, we decided to eat the lunch that I packed for us in the car on the way home since it was so soggy out!
